The E-Mart Self-Checkout System: Streamlining the Shopping Experience
Unlike traditional self-checkout systems, the E-Mart Self-Checkout System has been designed with the position of shelves and scanning stations in mind. This not only improves the overall flow of the checkout process, but also provides a more ergonomic experience for the shopper. The design process for this innovative solution was extensive, with various types of research and observation of shopper behavior during the checkout process. We analyzed every aspect of user behavior and used that data to suggest the ideal form factor for the self-checkout system.
